Active has an outstanding reputation when it comes to sharpening spiral tooling. All our spiral tooling is face sharpened to maintain size and tolerance. We hold tolerances to within .001” wing to wing on any ground tooling

The saw blade sharpening process starts after the blades are put through our ultrasonic cleaner. Then they are checked for proper tension, cracks and missing teeth and then repaired as necessary. They are then put on one of our two UTMA AL805’s which are 5-axis CNC oil grinders which do the face and O.D. in one setup. They hold all tolerances to spec to insure long life and better cuts from your blades.
